The Van Alstyne Independent School District is a public school district in Grayson County, Texas, United States, based in Van Alstyne, Texas. The district extends into portions of northern Collin County.

In 2009, the school district was rated "recognized" by the Texas Education Agency.[3]


The Van Alstyne Independent School District has one elementary school, one middle school, and one high school.
